Sorry for the awful quoting, but some time is passed since these 
emails so it's better refreshing our memories...

I'm trying to install the ambulant plugin in Firefox 3.0.11 on Ubuntu 
Jaunty now.
I have the same problems as above: the plugin is not recognized.

I do not have nspluginwrapper installed, I just have this:

fede at fede-laptop:~$ locate nspluginwrapper
/usr/lib/nspluginwrapper
/usr/lib/nspluginwrapper/dirs.d
/usr/lib/nspluginwrapper/dirs.d/flashplugin-installer
=====================================================================

but I don't think it is relevant, right?

Maybe the issue is where put the files in a Ubuntu system?
I've tried the following:

- in the home--->  ~/.mozilla/plugins/ and 
~/.mozilla/firefox/blabla.default/plugins/

- as root---> in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/

In /usr/lib I have many other possible directories which contain a 
plugin directory:
firefox firefox-3.0.11 firefox-addons

Should I place a symbolic link pointing to the 
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins to be sure?
Or it is just a waste of time?
