thanks for all the bug reports!
I think most of the problems you're encountering are with the new code, which has to do with (indeed) prefetching and seamless playback of continuous media over the net.
I think what you've been uncovering is that we have concentrated our testing a bit too much on H264/AAC/MP3. We'll try and fix these issues before the release.
