[Ambulant-users] javascript based player

Hello ambulant users.

I am curious if anyone knows of efforts to support SMIL via javascript? 
With the advent of the html5 video tag and fast javascript a lot of smil 
could be parsed and supported by a javascript based interpreter. Does 
anyone know of any efforts to build such a interpreter?

I am aware fakeSMIL .. but it does not seem to address video tag support.
