I know of three SMIL editors, but all are a bit out of date:
- GRiNS, from www.oratrix.com. This is the most out of date, but I'll mention it first anyway as it was partially the same team as that does Ambulant.
- LimSee2 and LimSee3 from Inria. The first one allows more access to the barebones SMIL code, the second tries to abstract away from that a little.

Does anyone else here know of tools to help SMIL editing? For example, I wouldn't mind finding a SMIL syntax-module for an XML-aware editor such BBEdit.
